Wireless MacOS

Follow these instructions to connect your Apple MacOS computer to the wireless network.


Manual Connection

Due to added security measures at NPU, you need to manually connect to the NORTHPARK WiFi network..

  1. Click the Wi-Fi icon at the top right of your screen.

  2. Select “Wi-Fi Settings…” from the drop-down menu

3. Click on the icon to the right of the "NORTHPARK" network:

4. Forget the "NORTHPARK" network by clicking "Forget This Network..."

5. Click "Remove" in the pop-up window.

6. Scroll to the "NORTHPARK" network and click on the "Connect" button.

7. Enter your username and password in the next window.

Manual Connection (Mac OS 12 or earlier)

Some Apple devices have trouble connecting to the NORTHPARK network. Follow these instructions to manually create and connect to the network.

  1. Click on the WIFI Settings icon in the top right of your screen

  2. Select “Network Preferences"

  3. Select “Advanced”

  4. If you see “NORTHPARK” on the list, click the “-” symbol, then select “OK”. If you do not, skip to step 7.

  5. Select “Apply”

  6. Select “Advanced”

  7. Select the “+” symbol

  8. Select “Show Networks”

  9. Select NORTHPARK and select “Join”

  10. Enter your North Park User ID and Password, then select “OK”

  11. If the “Verify Certificate” window appears, select “Continue”

  12. Select "Apply”

  13. If necessary, Click on the WIFI icon in the Header Ribbon and select “NORTHPARK” from the WIFI Menu
