Mersive Solstice

Some AV rooms are equipped with Mersive hardware that should allow people to connect a laptop or device via HDMI or wirelessly.

 Wired Connection

This is how to connect to the display using an HDMI connection. If your device doesn’t have and HDMI cable you will need to provide your own or contact IT Support Services to borrow one before your presentation.

1. Plug podium HDMI cable into laptop 

2. Display will show on the classroom display screen 

3. If on Windows, volume can be controlled via laptop 

4. If on Mac, volume needs to be controlled via TV remote  

 Wireless Connection

This is how to connect to the display wirelessly. The device needs to be connected to the WIFI and in the same room as the display.

1. Go to the web address onscreen

2. Follow instructions to download the Solstice QuickConnect App

3. Input the 4 digit code displayed onscreen 

4. Follow prompts to either share desktop, share window, or share file 

5. Once connected, you can control volume via the laptop
