Cybersecurity

Cybersecurity

Information Technology provides tools and ongoing training to protect the personal information and intellectual property of our campus community.

Good cyber hygiene starts with individuals. Here are a few reminders:

  • North Park will never ask you for your password or authentication codes.

  • Do not respond to text messages or emails asking for any personal information. Think twice about any solicitation for your information.

  • Report any suspicious activity (emails, texts, links, sites, etc.) to Information Technology.

  • Use passwords that are strong and unique: special, never recycled, and never shared with anyone.

  • Update your multi-factor authentication (MFA) to use the Microsoft Authenticator app.

  • Keep the operating systems, browsers, and software updated on all your devices.

Employee Training

All Employees are required to be current on cybersecurity training via KnowBe4.
